Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Services Manager to oversee our accounting and HR & administrative functions. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our corporate services and will require a self-starter who excels in managing multiple responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong problem-solving skills, and demonstrate the ability to de-escalate challenging situations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Management
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze budget reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial policies.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Human Resources & Administration
- Manage HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as office management and facilities coordination.
- Conflict Resolution & De-escalation
- Address and resolve employee conflicts or grievances in a professional and effective manner.
- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a harmonious work environment.
- Initiative & Project Management
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Work independently on special projects, providing strategic input and solutions to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate services management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with budget reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
