  • Individual consultation sessions with participants, to distil objectives, capabilities & resources & individual to guide plan design.
  • Execution of individual strategies – market identification, brand protection & patent opportunity identification, entry strategy per strategy
  • Some 80% of participants indicated increase in sales
  • 3 participants entered into / preparing to enter in Big Box outlets

The drafting of international market penetrations plans moved beyond merely the marketing & / or selling of products into a foreign market, but also encompassed the sustainability & expansion of the brands to deliver value to shareholders.  The final international penetration plans reflected & recommended that a strategic approach be taken for entry into the international market, driven by research, careful planning & alignment of resources.

Sustained International Success

Though many of the companies may be able to ship small quantities of items successfully, financial management & financial discipline is necessary for sustained success within international markets.  There were instances where companies may have been better off delaying the export foray until proper resources are built or acquired.  In this regard, the need for training in this area cannot be over-emphasised.
